PGC in Geoinformatics (PGCGI)

The Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Geoinformatics (PGCGI) was created by the School of Sciences with the assistance of numerous notable specialists from ISRO, DRDO, IIT, C-DAC, DST, IITM, and many other private and public universities. The PGCGI programme aims to acquaint the students with the fundamental ideas of geoinformatics and its applications. It is designed to be simple for a learner who wants to comprehend how geoinformatics may be used practically because it is based on concepts and abilities at the fundamental level. It offers students the chance to build fundamental skills and pursue higher education in geoinformatics. The program's goals are to give students theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the fundamentals of geoinformation science, familiarise them with spatial data, their analysis, and applications, and increase their opportunities for further education and career development in a variety of geoinformatics-related fields of employment.
