The PG Diploma Program's goal is to prepare professionals for the creation, implementation, and auditing of the nation's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), GOI, has assisted in the development of the programme. It aims to increase the competitiveness of food products and build India's capacity to satisfy international standards for food safety and quality. This postgraduate programme will help students gain technical proficiency in food safety and quality assurance throughout the food processing chain, from farm to fork, ensure the safety and quality of food products in accordance with mandatory legal requirements and voluntary standards, including export regulations, as necessary, and be able to plan, conduct, report, and audit activities efficiently. Implement good manufacturing, laboratory, transportation, and retail practises in the food processing/hospitality industry and retail outlets. Conduct standard microbiological and chemical analyses of food products.
