Master of Social Work (MSW)

The MSW programme gives students the chance to study professional social work at a higher level. In addition to the core courses that are part of the social work curriculum around the world and in India, it covers topics like globalisation, migration, the history of social work in India, a theory paper on social work practicum, and HIV/AIDS, all of which are expected to be very useful in the modern world. The practical parts have been carefully put together so that the learners can get hands-on training that will help them find jobs both inside and outside of the country. The best parts of the updated version of this programme are the Block Placement and Internship in the practical component and the focus on Social Work in an African Context, Criminal Justice, Contemporary Methods and Values of Social Work, and International Social Work. So, a student should be able to successfully finish 72 credits, which include required courses, optional courses, and fieldwork.
