MA in Jyotish (MAJY)

The objective of the Post Graduate Arts Degree (Astrology) program is to provide students with knowledge of time, planetary motion, solar eclipse, lunar eclipse and the events taking place in space based on the opinions of Indian sages under the Indian oriental science, conducting the practical life of human beings. How it happens, provides authentic and detailed knowledge of these facts. Students studying in this program will also get to know how Vedang astrology is studied in the form of astrology. Apart from providing special knowledge of astrological mathematics, theory and concept of results in ancient India, the students will be provided with the overall knowledge of astrology through the study material of this programme. With this type of study, the students will be involved in thinking about the welfare of all, while benefiting themselves from their education, while being concerned about the society. Along with subject knowledge, motivating towards employment and developing the ability to be eligible for it is also embedded in this program.
