MA in Corporate Social Responsibility (MACSR)

CSR in India has come a long way from being a form of charity to being a way to keep businesses in check. Clause 135 of the Companies Act of 2013 tells Indian companies how to do their CSR activities. Since the 2014-2015 fiscal year, the CSR rules have been in place. CSR is becoming a new field of study very quickly. As part of their CSR plans, big companies are now working on development issues in a planned way. In order for an organisation to respond to the CSR agenda, it will need experts in the field. MACSR will help meet the growing need for trained CSR professionals by building up people's skills.

This program's goals are to teach people about CSR through Open and Distance Learning, to help people learn more about the theoretical and practical sides of CSR and development work, to help people become more skilled in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of CSR projects and programmes, to help people become experts in different areas of CSR, and to give people the skills they need in corporate ethics, governance, and leadership.
