This programme is primarily designed for Hindi and Urdu speakers who are not proficient in reading, writing, or speaking Urdu. It introduces script writing, pronunciation techniques, conversation, and poetry and prose comprehension in Urdu. The student gains proficiency in the subject areas as well as the capacity to glean sociocultural data from the texts. There are 8 credits in each course.
