Certificate in Poultry Farming (CPF)

One of the most significant side industries for the farming community in India has been poultry rearing. Due to the need for a little space, low initial investment, and quick return throughout the year, it is a lucrative company in both urban and rural settings. It significantly contributes to the eradication of malnutrition, poverty, and under- and unemployed rural populations. However, due to a lack of current and updated methods for raising chickens, producers are using their own, ineffective methods that are not profitable. The goal of the current programme is to convey knowledge and skills necessary to make poultry farming a profitable venture. Youth in rural areas, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs are among the target demographic. By infusing/transferring knowledge and skills in poultry farming through open and distance learning (ODL) mode, raising awareness of employment and livelihood opportunities in the poultry sector, and transferring fundamental knowledge and technical proficiency in poultry breeding, housing, management, and nutrition, the programme aims to develop and strengthen human resource.
