Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in the plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Gyaniversity Publications, Heritage Estate, Bangalore, Karnataka - 560064.
Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
Service refers to the Website.
Website refers to Gyaniversity Publications, accessible from www.gyaniversity.com
"You" means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

What is the 200% Refund Guarantee?

The 200% refund guarantee states that if you purchase any of our products and still fail your course / exam / project / assignment, you can claim 2x the money you spent on our website for the relevant item.

Guide Books

In order to avail the 200% refund guarantee on our books, kindly ensure that the following conditions have been met :

You must use the promo code "REWARD" while placing your order for the study guide. If you fail to add this promo code or add any other promo code, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
You must provide proof that you have failed your paper. This proof would include providing your enrollment number, programme code, student ID card and a copy of your results / grade card.
You must provide proof that you have purchased the guide book from our website. This proof would include the order number, email id and full name used while placing the order. The name on the order page and the name on your grade card must match. If you have purchased the guide book from unauthorized sources apart from the website, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
The date of the order must be at least 10 days prior to the date of your exam as it takes a maximum time of 7-10 days to receive delivery of the book after you order. You must provide your hall ticket to confirm the date of the exam.
You must compare the question paper and provide proof that the study guide does not contain questions and/or content that would get you at least 40% in the exam. For example, if the guide book contains the questions and/or content that add up to 39/100 or less, you are eligible to claim the reward. If the book contains questions that add up to 40/100 or more and you still fail your exam, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
The reward is not applicable for new courses or subjects with a revised syllabus that don't have question papers at least for the past 8 years as such subjects do not have enough data to provide accurate results. However, almost all of the books we publish are eligible for the reward.
For subjects that contain personal application questions or questions that require your own experience to write an answer, we will credit those marks to the total count of answers included in the guide book as long as that concept is explained in the book. For example, if the question states "Write a letter on ABC", if the book contains an explanation on how to write a letter, we will credit full marks for that question.
These terms and conditions may be updated as per the discretion of Gyaniversity Publications. The most recent terms and conditions available on this page and our website would apply.
On fulfilling the above pre-requisites, students must provide all the information and documents along with their valid government ID proof and send an email to hello@gyaniversity.com requesting the reward.
All refunds will be processed within 10 working days of a valid claim.

Online Courses

If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can request a full refund of your order within the first twenty four hours of your purchase along with a valid reason of what you did not like. Our team will cancel your order and process your refund within 24-48 hours.

You must compare the question paper and provide proof that the online course and included study guides (if any) does not contain questions and/or content that would get you at least 40% in the exam. For example, if the guide book and the online course (including mock tests, practice questions, assignments, reference material, etc.) contain the questions and/or content that add up to 39/100 or less, you are eligible to claim the reward. If the course content contains questions that add up to 40/100 or more and you still fail your exam, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.

Projects & Dissertations

In order to avail the 200% refund guarantee on our projects and dissertations, kindly ensure that the following conditions have been met:

You must use the promo code "REWARD" while placing your order for project/dissertation. If you fail to add this promo code or add any other promo code, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
You must provide proof that you have failed your project/dissertation. This proof would include providing your enrolment number, programme code, student ID card and a copy of your results / grade card.
You must provide proof that you have purchased the project/dissertation from our website. This proof would include the order number, email id and full name used while placing the order. The name on the order page and the name on your grade card / student ID card must match. If you have purchased the assignment from unauthorized sources apart from the website, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
The date of the order must be at least 2 days prior to the last date of submission. Last date of submission is March 31 for July Session students and September 30 for January Session students.
You must provide proof that the project/dissertation you have submitted contains at least 75% content from Gyaniversity Publications and not your own or content from someone else. This proof would include a copy of your submitted project along with the receipt of the submission.
You will not be eligible for the reward if you have failed due to the additional content you have added.
Failing the project must not be confused with rejection of the project by the project supervisor. It is the students responsibility to make the small changes in the project synopsis and report to get it approved by the supervisor as we provide completely editable files. You are eligible to claim the reward if you fail in the final project that you submit to IGNOU in Delhi.
You must prove that the changes you have made and the final submission of the project has taken place by following the guidelines mentioned in your project manual. In case of handwritten projects, you must also prove that you have written the project neatly. Students who have not followed the instructions mentioned in the project manual and/or have written the project in an untidy manner will not be eligible to claim the reward.

You must use the promo code "REWARD" while placing your order for the handwritten assignment. If you fail to add this promo code or add any other promo code, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
You must provide proof that you have failed your assignment. This proof would include providing your enrolment number, programme code, student ID card and a copy of your results / grade card.
You must provide proof that you have purchased the handwritten assignment from our website. This proof would include the order number, email id and full name used while placing the order. The name on the order page and the name on your grade card / student ID card must match. If you have purchased the assignment from unauthorized sources apart from the website, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
The date of submission must be on time and before the deadlines set forth by IGNOU. Last date of submission is March 31 for July Session students and September 30 for January Session students.
You must provide proof that you have submitted the current / latest assignment valid for your session. If you have asked us to make an old or invalid assignment, you will not be eligible to claim this reward.
You must provide proof that the assignment you have submitted is the one written by our team and not your own or from someone else. This proof would include but is not limited to a copy of your corrected assignment in handwritten format along with the receipt of the assignment at the time of submission.
The reward is applicable only for handwritten assignments and not for practicals, labs, etc.
You must request the study centre to provide the corrected answer sheets to understand why you have failed.

Solved Assignments

You must use the promo code "REWARD" while placing your order for the solved assignment. If you fail to add this promo code or add any other promo code, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
You must provide proof that you have failed your assignment. This proof would include providing your enrollment number, program code, student ID card and a copy of your results/grade card.
You must provide proof that you have purchased the solved assignment from our website. This proof would include the order number, email id and full name used while placing the order. The name on the order page and the name on your grade card/student ID card must match. If you have purchased the assignment from unauthorized sources apart from the website, you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
The date of the order must be at least 2 days prior to the last date of submission.
You must provide proof that you have submitted the current / latest assignment valid for your session. If you have written and submitted an old assignment, you will not be eligible to claim this reward.
You must provide proof that the assignment you have submitted contains content from Gyaniversity Publications and not your own or content from someone else. This proof would include a copy of your assignment in handwritten format along with the receipt of the assignment at the time of submission.
The reward is applicable only for assignments and not for practicals, labs, etc.
For subjects that contain personal application questions or questions that require your own experience to write an answer, you must prove that you have made slight changes to the answers we have provided in order to personify them.
You must prove that you have written your assignment by following the guidelines mentioned in the question paper. You must also prove that you have written the assignment neatly. Students who have not followed the instructions mentioned in the question paper and/or have written the assignment in an untidy manner will not be eligible to claim the reward.
You must request the study center to provide the corrected answer sheets to understand why you have failed. You will not be eligible to claim the reward if you have failed for any reason other than the correctness/accuracy of the answers. If you have lost marks due to bad handwriting, handwriting mismatch, unfair means, late submission, spelling mistakes, etc. you will not be eligible to claim the reward.
